Recommendation - what you do or say that accelerates the process of conversion

If you know that for a typical conversion, it takes 10 clicks for the average seeker to connect with the goal, what can you do that will accelerate the process from 10 clicks into 8, 6, 4, or less. Knowing what motivates the seeker, what answers they seek, and how to streamline the connection is the key.
